Yes :-) Jennifer's review (Jan 15th 2007)

I’m sure if I subjected myself to creative writing class the walls at the new Radio Cafe at the corner of Riverside and Stevens would be called chartreuse – a daring and bold chartreuse. I’d have to marvel about the chrome accents and sharp mirrored walls using adjectives I barely understood in a wordy writing exercise. In the real world, I’d just call them lime green and say they’re pretty sweet. End of story.

The striking painted interior, however, isn’t the only sweet thing about downtown’s newest coffee cafe. The Thomas Hammer drip coffee is free all day long, song requests are welcome, and rumor has it a Playstation 3 hides behind the counter for customers to play on the cafe’s giant 53 inch television. Using a classic La Marzocco machine, Radio Cafe serves up a really decent latte. Smooth and easy. A perfect pairing for the Rocket Bakery muffins and pink cookies the cafe stocks as snacks.

It’s a nice spot and unlike so many downtown coffee hangouts stays open on the weekends. Stop in.
