It’s a disappointment.

We have eaten there several times. The atmosphere isn’t much different from the Pepperdine days, if you really look at it.

The service is slow, the food lacks creativity and taste, all of which are a big surprise as competitive as the South Hill has become. We are disappointed and probably won’t return.

If there were a positive to pull out of my hat, the prices are cheap, but not really worth it.

This is not a restaurant. It would barely qualify as an East Sprague tavern. Ugly, grubby and the food is sub-marginal. How can this be “related” to Vin Rouge? The fish & chips looked like they came from the packaged frozen food section at Super One, soggy batter cooked in oil that wasn’t hot enough. I won’t go back.

Unlike previous reviews, we were quite happy with Hangar 57. We went into a pizzeria and sports bar looking for pizza and beer. We were not disappointed. The beer was cold and the pizza was excellent.

The service could not have been better. The servers were friendly and we never had to wait for another beer.
Yes we waited for our pizza. It was cooked to order and was hot and fresh when it came out.

We have been back twice and will be back again tonight.

After several trips at different days of the week and times, I have become a regular. the pizza is original and fresh from the oven. I haven’t worked my way through the menu to the other entrees, but anticipate the same quality. The beer selection is excellent with a few imported beers on tap rarely seen in this part of the country. The service has been good and the attitude and personality of the staff keep me coming back. I have recommended it and have not had any negative feedback from my friends. A work in progress; it will only get better!

The best thing to happen to the South Hill in years! Just what the Hill needed, an upbeat bar with great food and entertainment! Any night of the week you can find something going on at Hangar, the karaoke guy is the best! The gourmet pizzas are fabulous; I’ve never been disappointed.

Granted the service is a little slow on a Friday or Saturday night but it’s always a great night at Hangar 57.

We brought the family in one night. I found the food to be decent. I liked the pizza toppings which seemed better than the average Domino’s type places.

My big complaint was the service. It was slow and the staff seemed to spend more time flirting with male customers. Also for a family “restaurant” the female staff was dressed not appropriate for a establishment with children around. Left a bad taste in my mouth. I do not know if me and my family will be back.

Not a fan. The end to end 6’ tables are great if your a softball team but leaves limited seating for smaller parties. Been there twice, burnt nachos both times. Great if you like watching guys drink beer from baby bottles (no kidding) a promotion on the night I was there. I can’t believe Vin Rouge is behind this.

When the bartender can’t even handle a bar fight you know the place is RIDICULOUS.
