No :-( Remi's review (Mar 10th 2008)

Chile Headz! has quite a few things going for it: It doesn’t pretend to be authentic Mexican food, but rather its northern cousin, Tex-Mex. There are many homemade salsas to choose from, plus you get a good array of variations on the menu, including hot dogs.

Yet for some reason I didn’t fall in love with Chili Headz!’s tacos. The idea of having a smaller corn tortilla wrapped in a flour one is certainly not bad, but it doesn’t really add a whole lot more other than calories to the experience. The meat is also rather dull, especially when compared to… Well, the De Leon comparison is unfair.

As for the salsa, the Afterburner, it was hot to the point where you couldn’t taste anything other than the heat. That’s not good, a balance is definitely needed there.

It’s not that Chili Headz! is awful, as it really isn’t. Heck I might very well try it again sometime, but the overall impression so far is underwhelming.
