Definitely expensive for what you get, but tasty no less. Large enough portions to want to take some home, but good enough not to want to stop eating just when you get full. A great place to sip on a beverage of your choice while studying or taking advantage of the free wireless. I don’t drink coffee, so I can’t attest to that, but they do make some good eggs in the morning in a cup. I think they use the steam from the espresso machine (or something like it).

I love Lindamin’s – expensive, but worth it.

Pre-dressed soggy Caeser salad. Pre-cooked, microwaved Salmon. Over priced. Again, the Emperor’s new clothes.

This place is simply awful. The first time I went, I was with a local who led me to think that it would remind me of Foster’s Market http://www.fostersmarket.com/, a beloved landmark where I’m from. I left, after a battle with two soggy salads and a luke-warm latte, telling myself I would never pass through the door again. I did get coaxed in, however, by another friend who insisted I try one more time. I had the same dismal experience. This place is not just bad; it’s depressing.

If you’re ever in the Triangle area in North Carolina, try Foster’s Market. Wait—on second thought, don’t. You might not hate Lindaman’s as much if you don’t know what you’re missing.

I have not been to Linndeman’s in a long time…the reason? I can’t stand to pay hard earned bucks for microwaved food. It doesn’t matter if it is a “fancy” microwave or not (still a microwave!). The coffee is good though, but I wouldn’t drive there for it. There is a much better place for coffee and good eats nearby (BitterSweet Bakery). Hopefully they will get the hint and ditch the nuker.

Lindaman’s is a last resort kind of place. I live within walking distance and only go if I’m tired of the other options in the area. As other reviewers stated it’s all over-priced microwaved food, a bright spot being their dessert. But, if you find yourself, like me, with no other options, definitely get your food to go. This way you can warm your food all the way up, instead of having it lukewarm in the restaurant. Another reason to get it to go is the atmosphere. Yes, the decor and whatnot is nice. But the employees are another matter. When I’m there, I get the feeling the employees wish I wasn’t. When I ask for a minute to decide what I want, they stand behind the deli case and impatiently tap at the glass, which makes me feel extremely uncomfortable.

I recently visited Lindaman’s for the first time and really enjoyed the food. Unlike earlier reviews, I cannot comment on the temperature of the food, because I took it to go, but the gentleman who helped me was very nice and pleasant. He took the time to answer questions and make suggestions, especially after it was mentioned that it was my first time in the store. The dish that stands out from my takeout was the lasagna. It was one of the better slices of the dish I have had in Spokane. It was simply a nice, well balanced dish, from the cheese, to meat sauce, to the noodles. I will definitely be back.
