Yes :-) Jennifer's review (Apr 30th 2006)

It is no secret I love Lindaman’s on Spokane’s lower South Hill. For quick comfort food with a gourmet touch it can’t be beat. But in all my visits, I’d never stepped past the first cash register and on to the coffee bar. I’m always hurried at Lindaman’s and the salad trios, twice baked potatoes, and Nanaimo bars are as far as I get. So when a cranky, egotistical, arrogant, pompous, name dropping know-it-all argued that the lads at Lindaman’s make the best coffee in town, I knew I had to take a few bold strides past the cash register, saddle up to the bar, and order a shot, straight-up. God, I wanted to prove this !@%$#%@ wrong.

But I couldn’t. He was right.

Kirk does serve the best damn cup of coffee in Spokane. Coffee so smooth, velvety, and rich I was left speechless. I can’t think of adjectives befitting this magical liquid. Before I even finished my drink I was trying to find reasons to head up Grand for another shot. I can’t get this espresso off my mind. Can coffee nirvana make one mad?

Yes :-) Remi's review (Sep 4th 2004)

For twenty years Lindaman’s has offered deli food both for take-out, catering, and eat-in meals. And they’re good at it too! The Aspen Village Chicken salad was great – spicy with multiple dressings, and apparently The Jennifer’s twice baked potato was equally good. The german chocolate cake is a choice dessert.

Bonus points to the waitress for coming out with fresh tortilla chips after she noticed that the ones in the batch they gave to me were stale – I hadn’t even noticed that, as they were used in the salad dressing!

Definitely expensive for what you get, but tasty no less. Large enough portions to want to take some home, but good enough not to want to stop eating just when you get full. A great place to sip on a beverage of your choice while studying or taking advantage of the free wireless. I don’t drink coffee, so I can’t attest to that, but they do make some good eggs in the morning in a cup. I think they use the steam from the espresso machine (or something like it).

I love Lindamin’s – expensive, but worth it.

Pre-dressed soggy Caeser salad. Pre-cooked, microwaved Salmon. Over priced. Again, the Emperor’s new clothes.
