When it comes to great bad burgers it doesn’t get a whole lot better than Dick’s. This is about as plain and fast-food-y as it gets, yet you’d be hard pressed to find anything that’s quite as good as the Double Whammy burger, fries fried in beef tallow, and a chocolate malt. The 50s/60s Americana ambiance makes the experience even better too.

Fun fact – when we went to watch Seinfeld’s live show, the dude who did the warm-up was commenting on Dick’s panda logo which made him wonder what he was eating. The place used to be called The Panda fifty or so years ago, so don’t worry; no panda meat in the burgers.

I think Dick’s is a cultural experience everyone should have at least once! Dick’s is the cheapest place to grab a burger and go! Interesting enough the Dick’s in Seattle is one of Bill Gates favorite places to go. They must be doing something right!

I lived in Spokane 20 some years ago, and loved Dicks Burgers. Several times I did the 1/2 pounder burger, and once ate the pounder on a bet. A lot of burger! Too bad dicks isnt in Indiana. They would easilly put MCSUCKS out of business.
