Roger’s might primarily be known as an ice cream joint, but there’s something to be said for its food items too. Established in 1940, this place serves a hamburger that has a strangely old-fashioned taste about it. This isn’t a bad thing mind you, and I quite enjoyed my meal.

I can see why the ice cream is its main claim to fame though. There are plenty of flavors to choose from, and they’re generous with the toppings. Don’t you hate it when an ice cream shop doesn’t put enough caramel sauce on your Sundae? I do, and I can happily report that Roger’s does not fall into that category.

This might very well be the best option for an ice cream and burger should you happen to be in Coeur d’Alene on a warm summer’s day.
