Yes :-) Jennifer's review (Apr 30th 2006)
I’m not extremely familiar with the north side of Spokane. Some days it seems like five endless north-south arterial lined with giant apartment complexes, box stores, and stoplights. A part of town where everyone must own a vehicle. And finding a decent coffee shop is tough. The Service Station is there for those who need it and another Starbucks is always on the next block, but compared to other parts of Spokane, the north side lacks destination coffee houses.
But if you know about it and can find it, Pleasant Blends in the Heritage Village Center is a cute little shop with a wonderful cup of coffee. Serving a woodsy smooth blend from Longbottom Coffee of Hillsboro, Pleasant Blends is comfortable and welcoming. The wooden floors, jars of loose tea and coffee beans, and cozy tables and chairs make the spot informal and relaxed. Wireless connections are free and the friendly, unpretentious staff skillfully helps customers choose the right cup coffee or tea. No stuffiness here. No rushing patrons through the line and out the door. And the prices are low. I can’t think of anywhere in Spokane with a cappuccino under $2 other than Pleasant Blends.
