Ask me how I want my cappuccino and I’ll be loyal for life. “Wet or dry?” should be as automatic as “Shaken or stirred?” Still, I’m only rarely asked. For the record, the young guy at Sorrentino’s in Spokane Valley asks.

His blonde counterpart also gives extra card punches to newbies. Talk about a customer loyalty program! And while I appreciate the gestures and the light atmosphere, I wasn’t a big fan of the Gemelli espresso blend. The coffee was much too astringent for my taste. But thanks for asking how I like my drink!
