Please believe me when I say it was bad. Real bad. So bad we each took one bite, looked at each other, and walked out. We only wanted a few fresh vegetables for a decent salad and a couple slices of fresh melon, maybe a grape or two. What we were greeted with was frightening. Sickening. Disgusting. It was everything the world hates about the good old U.S.A. We were surrounded by deep fried morsels, butter drenched canned vegetables, thick gooey mounds of carbohydrates. Hunks of meat as big as my head. Enough high fructose corn syrup to induce diabetes. And the plates. On our table was a stack of plates. Who needs an entire stack of plates?
All we were looking for was a peaceful table, maybe a little soft music, and an easy salad. Golden Corral was right there. Why not give it a shot? They have to have salad, right? After fifteen minutes of winding our way through the people corral to the register, we held our cafeteria tray in awe as we watched the gluttony unfold before us. It would not surprise me if an EMT or two was on staff.
Honestly, I didn’t know. I haven’t eaten at a buffet restaurant since I was eleven years old. Remi thought it would be another “American” thing to check off his list. I was tired. I wrongly assumed it might be an easy way to pick up a few greens and crisp veggies without having to go to the market. I thought it would be a shortcut. The excuses are as endless as the shrimp.
Now we’ve seen the horror. Please spare yourself.

Hahaha, I used to work there and let me tell you you think the food is disgusting, seeing it in the end is even worse (I was a dishwasher, sucked) I used to leave work to get dinner just because I didnt want to eat there. I have stories of some of the clientele including the lady who decided the plates were not big enough and went straight for the buffet with the cafeteria tray. and that almost plastic “Cheeze” is nearly one of the hardest things to remove from any surface, Immagine what it does to people who eat it. I agree saying it is everything the rest of the world hates about the USA rolled into one Baked, Cheese coated, sugar covered ball that rides in an electric wheelchair because walking has become a chore (plenty of those types, they ride the electric wheelchairs and then get up and walk a half a step to get something they cant reach from down there.
Also cleaning the bathrooms was one of the worst experiences in my life, so many people do not know self control and just let loose all over the floor in the bathroom, its awful

Can’t believe the bad reviews. Have had three meals in one day and enjoyed all of them. Lots of variety and good value for the money. Good service.

I went there from the Tri-cities back in May 2008. Fell in love with it. My wife and I are going to take another trip up to see some relatives on 101108 and expect the same great experience we had the first time.
I wouldn’t believe a malcontent ex-employee or some “Green” lady from out of the country if I were you.

My Grandpa loved this place and my Grandma stuffed her purse with “leftover” rolls. I haven’t been back since the gathering after my Grandpa’s funeral. The food is awful. But I know Grandpa is still looking forward to hearing the fresh baked goods bell ring.
