Yes :-) Jennifer's review (Apr 30th 2006)
I laugh at genuinely funny coffee stand monikers. Granting, for the most part, clever coffee related business names are cheesy. “Higher Grounds,” “Java the Hut,” “Bean Me Up.” I could go on and on. Just give me a descriptive and simple name, a good cup of coffee, and I’ll come back for years. However, when I first spotted Brews Brothers Espresso Lounge, I actually smiled a bit and giggled at the play on words. Even though I often pass the punny corner coffee shop downtown, it took a while before I actually stepped inside to investigate the bean scene.
Decorated in earth tones and overstuffed stylish sofas, Brews Brothers Espresso Lounge is welcoming and comfortable. Vivid art from local artists competes for wall space with a chalkboard menu and photos of celebrities enjoying cups of Brews Brothers coffee. The picture of Dick Van Patton alone is well worth a drive downtown. To the left of the cash register is a small table stocked with coffee add-ons. To the right is a large glass case of full of enticing muffins, scones, and cookies. I wasn’t able to tell which coffee roaster supplies Brews Brothers beans, but I’m sure it’s probably one of the locals. Maybe Cravens or DOMA or even Caffe Vita out of Seattle. My seasonally flavored pumpkin latte was warm and nicely spiced. On a rainy Saturday morning it was the perfect anecdote for the gray gloom. If only I had had a good book or trashy magazine to flip through while watching Spokane pass by outside. Maybe next time!

I only drink white coffee and they have the best white coffee EVER!
No :-( Liz's review (Jun 25th 2008)
I find it extremely difficult to get a consistent cup of coffee here. It seems that there are so many staff changes that you never really know what you are going to get. I work across the street from them, but will pass them by in order to find a decent cup.
Their prices are way too high in my opinion. I can get the same at Starbucks for cheaper which is saying a lot.
