Molly’s does not only provide a pretty decent breakfast, it is also a place where you can go for a show. Located on Lincoln between 2nd and 3rd Avenue, it is in a spot where a lot of interesting people hang out, and thus an excellent destination for people watching. Take our last visit, when a Lady of the Night was treated to breakfast by what apparently was her last Emptor of the Night. And man did she put on a show. Clapping, shouting, getting free refills until the waitress apparently was about ready to strangle her… Yes, Molly’s has an unmistakable ambiance.
And the breakfast wasn’t bad either. Sure, my “Spanish Omelette” was probably more of a “Mexican Omelette,” but that’s splitting hairs. With avocado, salsa (I’m thinking it was La Victoria,) beans, cheese, and olives, it was certainly a flavor fest. A huge flavor fest. I’m not sure how many eggs they put into it, but I would be surprised if there were less than four. The hash browns weren’t bad either, and you can have them served either shredded or chunky style.

Sure it wasn’t a superbly sophisticated and challenging meal, but that is, of course, not the point of a diner breakfast. It was simple and it tasted good, and it was cheaper than making a similar meal at home.
Plus you probably don’t have Midnight Cowgirls stirring up a storm in your house.

My husband and I once had breakfast at Molly’s and thought it was great. We went back for dinner and my man got horribly horribly sick about 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant. He had a taco salad. I had shrimp fettucini which was pretty much white sauce soup. They forgot the mushrooms, too. It was really nasty. I might go back for breakfast – stick with the simple stuff!

I have been in Spokane for about five months. I discovered Molly’s after a couple of weeks, and it has been a favorite spot ever since.
I will agree that breakfast is much better than dinner, but that could be due in part to the skeleton crew they have working. I had the taco salad and LOVED IT! it is a great taco salad surrounded by… whole tacos great on their own.
Breakfast I usually have the Molly’s mess or the South of the Border omlette. Both are fantastic.
My only lament is the recent switch from Coke to Pepsi… to quote a great philosopher, I just threw up a little in my mouth. ew.

We never even ordered at Molly’s—the waitress was angry at another customer and seemed to be steaming around, it was very unprofessional and went on for about 5 minutes. We left deciding if she is that angry why would we want her serving us food!
