Although the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in grandma’s kitchen in Italy, the food here is gross and overrated. After I got done with my meal, I would have been happier cooking dried spaghetti and tossing it with some Ragu.

I felt the atmosphere was stark and bland and the food is even more so. The soup had some flavor. The salad was iceberg lettuce with a wedge of something pink in it. The dinner rolls were nice, but served with margarine, not butter. I’m pretty sure my gnocchi had been sitting in a pot of tepid water for a week, it had the consistency of baby food.

Mama Mia’s food is incredible, the staff is awesome. Just try it for yourself and see. Authentic, home made sauces, big portions, I love it.

Best meatballs in town! Try the pistachio gelato. The service is great and also have great prices!

The food is very good, the prices are great, they don’t have a problem with special orders. The only thing I would change is to add some background (maybe Italian) music for ambiance. It just doesn’t have that warm feeling.

I love this place. Fresh pasta, home-made sauces. The house creamy Italian dressing for the salad is SO yummy. The prices are great, and the portions guarantee lunch for the next day. Try it!

It’s almost impossible to take my picky Italian-American family to an Italian restaurant and have everyone give it a thumbs-up. But Mama Mia did it and does it every time.
Bellissimo!

Huge portions. The food is good if you are feeling like some just alright dinner.

Mama Mia’s had the ignoble ranking of having the worst plate of Italian food ever served to us. I do not know how anyone could screw up a simple dish of spaghetti and meatballs and make it inedible. The pasts was mush – I mean so mushy it must have sat in the hot water for hours, the sauce tasted very tinny with no seasoning, like it came out of a 50 year old can that said tomato sauce. The meatball, actually more panada then meat, the end result was a grainy dry and tasteless round blob.
The portion of this slop was huge but my wife and even the young child we had with us would not eat it. I think their motto is, who cares if it’s good, we will give you a lot.
However, I must admit that I had a calzone and it was done with a cracker crust that was very good, I would eat one of those again. But when you combine the interior, think 70’s cheesy Italian/American restaurant with the checkered tablecloths, the plain dinner salad with a watery Italian dressing, a server that didn’t notice that we did not eat any of the botulism on a plate and refused a to-go box, I think we will not go back.
