Great atmosphere! When you step inside the door you see a huge chandelier that resembles pumpkins, bold and modern oranges and deep reds decorate the wall as well as some local artists work. The food was great; I’ve had the salmon as well as the margarita pizza which was AWESOME! Fabulous service!
It’s definitely worth the wait!

Service as bad as it gets. Staff not paying attention to customers. Restaurant not busy. We waited half an hour for anything and then the main courses were delivered before the salads and soups. Food mediocre at best.

The best food in Spokane or CDA! Adam is one of the most inventive chef’s to come along in ages. Presentation is perfect and combination of sauces & coulies just right to highlight each dish. We always recommend this to friends and family…worth the drive!

Amazingly, this was our second negative dining experience in Coeur d’Alene.
The ambiance is gorgeous and the menu seemed promising. But none of the food really lived up to what it could be.
What really got me is that our server neglected us for large chunks of time, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. He forgot to bring me a certain condiment that I asked for (and I’m pretty sure he avoided me for the rest of the night because he realized that he had forgot), never pre-bussed any of our plates until we finally had to stack them in the corner of our table and (finally) didn’t check back to see how we liked our entrees until we were pretty much finished with them. We also ordered to appetizers (generally these come out before the main course, correct?), but after waiting for what seemed like a pretty long time, our server finally brought them out—right before we got our entrees. Literally about a half a minute later, our server awkwardly walked up to our table with the entrees and said, “Yeah…these came up pretty fast.” Last I checked, most POS systems have an option to “Fire first.” So either he goofed up and ordered them all at once, or the kitchen just didn’t care, and has a very poor timing system.
The tempura asparagus was as bland as it could be, sadly. I ended up picking all of the batter off and just eating the asparagus. This is kind of a bummer. Brix could have jazzed up the batter with something flavorful (asparagus loves a little citrus? spices? Seriously). Asparagus is such a delicious veggie, but the tempura was way, way too thick and chewy. I expecting something a little more thin and crispy.
My boyfriend got a summer salad—also very unexciting—with an overwhelming ‘unripe,’ cucumber-ish sort of flavor. The lobster/corn chowder was very good. Props on that. My potato, prosciutto and garlic pizza, however, seemed to bank on the hopes of being tasty sheerly from it’s carb and cheese content. It was OK for about one slice, but then way too rich and overwhelming by the time I made it to the next slice. It needed to have a more sharp, more savory kick that lingered longer. If you’ve ever had a pasta Alfredo with too much creme and cheese and not enough flavor, this is how I would describe the pizza.
The worst part was the creme brulee, which was ridiculously salty. Aside from it’s burnt sugar top, the brulee tasted like it was made with an entire stick of salted butter. And after we finished our dessert, we waited for about another fifteen minutes before hearing from our server again.
