I recently moved to Las Vegas after living in Spokane. I miss Spokane like CRAZY, especially Ultimate Bagel. I always loved Ultimate, and after living in Vegas (where there are no good bagel places) I love Ultimate even more!
I love the Eggcellent’s! The egg is perfect, bacon and cheese a bit chintzy…but far better than the other places in Spokane. I remember a few years ago when the Hamilton location shut down….peeps were in DISPAIR. Ultimate Bagel rocks.
i LOVE ultimate. they make their own cream cheese, which makes their bagels even better. I’ve recently moved to New York, the city of bagels, and I still can’t find anything better than ultimate. mmm.
Based upon the reviews here, I went to Ultimate Bagel and purchased a selection. They were, without a doubt, the worst bagels I’ve encountered in over five decades of bagel enjoyment. Heavy as lead, with the taste of uncooked dough, the only way to make them palatable was to apply a lot of toppings.
After just moving to the area a few months ago I was craving a good bagel like crazy. I took a look at the reviews of The Ultimate Bagel and decided to give it a try. I went in on a Sunday morning around 9am and purchased a dozen bagels. I guess one of my first hints that these bagels weren’t so hot was that the place wasn’t even crowed on a Sunday morning. While the service was friendly and quick the bagels were just flat out were not any good. They were heavy, bland, and undercooked. I tried so hard to like them but, just couldn’t do it. Honestly I can’t believe there have been any positive reviews of the place. Spokane still needs a great bagel place.
Cloying concept (unless its located in the Tri-State area. Cute staff. Lame breakfast bagel.
The bagel itself was pretty good, but I’m not nuanced enough in the ways of the goddamn bagel to review it like wine dorks review each swallow of vino. The ham, egg and cheese were pretty tasteless. And on the whole it wasn’t very filling, especially for a Lincoln plus tip.
